FIR Against Rakshit Shetty for Song Plagiarism
An FIR has been filed against Kannada actor and producer Rakshit Shetty for alleged song plagiarism in his film "Bachelor Party."
MRT Music Company lodged a complaint at Yeshwanthapura Police Station, accusing Rakshit and Parmva Studios of using their songs "Galimatu" and "Nyaya Ellide" without permission. Police registered the case under the Copyright Act and issued a notice to Rakshit Shetty, who is currently out of state for a film shoot. Earlier this year, "Bachelor Party," helmed by director Abhijit Mahesh and featuring Diganth, Achyut Kumar, and Yogesh, hit the screens.
