A rare achievement for the movie 'Drishyam'

The Malayalam blockbuster movie, 'Drishyam,' has earned a rare honor as there are talks about its Hollywood remake. A prominent Hollywood film production company has announced its plans to adapt the film into English and Spanish, making it the first Indian film to be remade in Hollywood.

Directed by Jeetu Joseph, the movie features Mohanlal and Meena in lead roles, achieving super hit status in Malayalam. The success led to the creation of a sequel, 'Drishyam 2,' which also garnered positive reception. Following this, the film was remade in Telugu with Venkatesh, achieving significant success. In Hindi, Ajay Devgan and Shriya played the lead roles, while Kamal Haasan and Gauthami took on the Tamil version.

Notably, the 'Drishyam' series has already been remade in Korean, achieving considerable success. Recently, Hollywood-based Gulf Stream Pictures, in collaboration with another production company, acquired the international remake rights from the Indian film production company Panorama Studios. The upcoming Hollywood adaptation has sparked interest in discovering which actors will be featured in this rendition.

Meanwhile, 'Drishyam 3' is set to release soon in Malayalam, adding to the anticipation surrounding the successful movie series.
