The Manjummal Boys have exceeded ticket sales four times that of Mammootty's Bhram Yuga, a remarkable achievement in the current Malayalam cinema landscape. The recent release, Manjummal Boys, has become the talk of the town, claiming the second spot in the 2024 opening collection figures and achieving a record ticket sale of 168,990 on the last day.

Directed by Chidambaram, Manjummal Boys explores friendship, curiosity, survival, and adventure, earning positive reviews. Meanwhile, trade analysts report that Premalu, still running successfully, has sold 78,460 tickets, while Bhrama Yuga lagged with 40,410 tickets sold. Manjummal Boys' arrival poses a challenge to the illusionary era, nearing the 50-crore mark globally. On a different note, Premalu has expanded to 700 theaters worldwide in its third week and is expected to continue its upward trajectory, having already crossed the 50-crore mark at the global box office.
