She alleged that actor Sarath Kumar occupied the top floor of Dhanush's apartment.

She alleged that Sarathkumar was using the area for commercial purposes.

Dhanush's mother lives with her husband in an apartment in Thyagaraja Nagar, Chennai.

Dhanush's mother and some other residents of the apartment block filed a complaint against Sarath Kumar to the Chennai Corporation management.

Dhanush's mother approached the Madras High Court after Indiaglitz Tamil published an article saying that her complaint was not properly heard.

The court heard the case on Wednesday (June 5) and directed Sarath Kumar to give his response.

Dhanush and Sarath Kumar have not acted together in any movie till now. But in 2015, Dhanush shared the screen with Sarath Kumar's wife in the Tamil film Thangamagaan.
