Fahadh Faasil recently disclosed details about his role in the upcoming film Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth. During a press meeting, the Malayali actor revealed that he will be portraying a humorous character in the highly anticipated movie.

Known primarily for his serious roles, Fahadh expressed excitement about the opportunity to delve into comedic territory in Vettaiyan, a departure from the villainous roles he typically undertakes in Tamil cinema.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel and based on a true story, Vettaiyan boasts a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh.

Scheduled for release in October this year, 'Vettaiyan ' has been generating buzz, with Lyca Productions recently unveiling a poster featuring Rajinikanth wielding a gun, accompanied by the announcement of the film's release date.
