Kollywood Star Karthi Sardar 2 Shoot Will Start From Next Month

Kollywood star Karthi, known for his dedication to story-driven films, played the title role in the successful movie 'Sardaar,' directed by PS Mithran. Now, the eagerly awaited sequel, 'Sardaar 2,' is set to commence shooting in July.

The film's teaser, revealing a backdrop of Mission Cambodia, has already gone viral. The sequel will feature expansive sets in Chennai initially, followed by shooting locations in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, as per inside sources.

Ashika Ranganath, famed for 'Amigos,' is expected to play a pivotal role, pending an official confirmation from the production team.

Renowned musician Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music and background score. Meanwhile, Karthi is simultaneously involved in 'Va Vathiare,' directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy, with Kriti Shetty as his co-star.

The recently unveiled first look of 'Va Vathiare' is also creating a buzz. The film is produced by KE Gnanvel Raja under the Studio Green banner.
