Star hero Vikram's much-anticipated film 'Thangalan', directed by Pa Ranjith, is slated for release on August 15, 2024. The movie, based on a true incident in the Kolar gold fields, stars Malavika Mohanan and Parvathy Thiruvothu in leading roles, with Daniel Caltagirone, Pashupati, and others in pivotal roles. GV Prakash Kumar will compose the music for this film produced by Neelam Productions and Studio Green.
