The Madras High Court has closed the case against actor Dhanush following a settlement reached between the parties. Initially, Ajay Kumar Lunawath and Heema Lunawath filed a petition seeking an injunction to prevent Dhanush from disturbing their peaceful possession of a property in Poes Garden, Chennai, which they had rented from respondent Nalina Ramalakshmi.
Alleging interference by Dhanush's aides on February 5, including a claim of ownership and cutting off electricity to force them out, the petitioners sought court intervention.
However, after the parties agreed to a settlement and submitted a memorandum to the court, Dhanush appeared via video conference and agreed to resolve the matter amicably.
In other news, Dhanush is currently engaged in his second directorial venture, "Raayan," originally set for release on June 13 but postponed.
Recently, on June 10, Dhanush announced new release dates with fresh posters in multiple languages, confirming "Raayan" will now premiere on July 26 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
