Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Vettayan', directed by T.J. Gnanavel Raja and produced by Lyca Productions, features Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Fazil, Rana, and others in significant roles. Currently in post-production, the crime action drama, based on true events, has completed filming. While the exact release date is yet to be confirmed, industry sources suggest it will hit theaters around Diwali in October. Music is composed by Anirudh, and cinematography is handled by SR Kathir.
