Popular Tamil hero Sivakarthikeyan donated Rs.50 lakhs. He said that this amount was given for the construction of the building of the 'South Indian Artists Association'. On this occasion, a letter was written from the Nadigar community thanking Sivakarthikeyan. Top heroes of Kollywood are already helping in their part in the construction of Nadigar Bhavan.

Hero Vishal, who continues to be the general secretary of 'The South Indian Artists Association', has been collecting donations for the construction of the building for the past few months. With his call, star heroes like Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Suriya, and Karthi have given their help.

As the construction works have already been completed with Rs.40 crores, another Rs.25 crores are required for the construction works, and efforts are being made to get a bank loan on behalf of the actors' association. Also, it is reported that the bank is ready to give a loan of Rs. 30 crores if a deposit of Rs. 12.5 crores is made. It seems that they are in the process of arranging an adequate amount for that. Presently Nasser is the President of Nadigar Sangam, Puchi Murugan is the Vice President, Vishal is the General Secretary and Hero Karti is the Treasurer.
