Thalapathy Vijay To Unveil Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam Flag

Actor Vijay is set to unveil the flag of his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), within the coming week. This development marks a significant step in Vijay's political journey as he prepares for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Launched last February, TVK will not participate in any elections before 2026, opting out of the recent Lok Sabha elections.

Vijay has been actively involved in party activities, including appointing administrators and engaging with young voters through gifts and certificates for top-performing students.

The flag's unveiling is a milestone for TVK, with over 100 individuals recently joining the party during Bussy Anand's birthday celebration at Vijay's Puducherry residence.

Vijay has also been vocal on various issues, including criticizing the ruling DMK for its handling of a recent liquor crisis and opposing the NEET exam, which he argues harms poor and rural students.

Additionally, he has denounced the Citizenship (Amendment) Act of 2019. As the party approaches this key event, the flag’s design will likely reflect TVK’s identity and values.
