The popular singer Uma Ramanan passed away

Popular Tamil singer Uma Ramanan (72) passed away on Wednesday due to illness. Uma worked for Ilayaraja, Vidyanagar, Mani Sharma, Deva, and others. A classical music artist, Uma has given more than 6000 performances in 35 years. He has lent his voice to many films like Mahanadi, Oru Kaithian Diary, Arangreta Velai, etc. He finally sang the song 'Dimdimtara' in 'O Chinnadana' in Telugu.
