Megastar Chiranjeevi was the chief guest at the inaugural function of the South India Film Festival. Mani Sharma, Tanikella Bharani, TG Vishwaprasad, Murali Mohan, Allu Aravind, K.S. Rama Rao, Manchu Lakshmi, and many other cine celebrities participated in this program which was held at Novatel, Hyderabad. Megastar Chiranjeevi was the chief guest at this grand ceremony.

Chiranjeevi was honored on this stage on the occasion of receiving the Padma Vibhushan. Allu Arvind, Murali Mohan, and TG Vishwaprasad presented the statue of Anjaneya to the megastar on stage. Mega fans in America organized a program called 'Mega felicitation event' and honored the megastar.
