Rajamouli, who directed the film 'Baahubali: The Last Legends' in 2017, is no stranger to entering the field of animation. The animated series, which ran for four seasons on Amazon Prime Video, captivated audiences with its rich storyline.

'Baahubali 2' released in 2017 had huge expectations. The sequel was released in 9,000 screens worldwide, including 6,500 screens in India alone. This wide distribution marked it as the highest-grossing Indian film of the period.
