Yami Gautham and Priyamani starrer 'Article 370' is raining money at the box office. With positive reviews from film critics and positive word of mouth, the film is fetching good collections for its makers in the first week. 'Article 370' revolves around the politically charged abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. According to news agency ANI, 'Article 370' has been banned in all Gulf countries. The film will not be screened in Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. However, the specific reasons for the ban are yet to be revealed.
'Article 370' is the second Bollywood film to be banned in Gulf countries after Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer 2024.
Box office report:
Despite facing stiff competition from Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal starrer 'Crack', the film is doing exceptionally well at the box office. First Sunday of 'Article 370' Rs. 9.5 crores earned. This is almost 20 per cent higher than the previous day. The film, which opened on February 23 with a budget of Rs.5 crore, collected more than Rs.7 crore on the second day. Total box office collections after three days is 22.80 crores.
