Boyapati Sreenu Provides Clarity About Balakrishna's Akhanda 2 Sequel

Akhanda 2: Boyapati Sreenu and Balakrishna's trio of films Simha, Legend, and Akhanda have garnered immense success. Akhanda joined the 100 crore club, achieving monumental success. It was previously announced that a sequel to this film was in the works. Currently, Balakrishna is engaged in the electoral process, leading to a temporary hiatus in the shooting of NBK 109, directed by Bobby.

Following the elections, Balakrishna will resume filming. Likewise, Akhanda 2 is slated to commence post elections. Boyapati Sreenu recently addressed the media during the inauguration ceremony of the Shiv Kesava Maha Sannidhanam temple in Kokapet, organized by producer Suresh Babu, which was attended by numerous film celebrities.

During his interaction with the media at the temple's opening ceremony, Boyapati highlighted the ongoing election frenzy, stating that the announcement for Akhanda 2 would follow post elections. He mentioned that Akhanda showcased the concept of the infant as Prakriti Paramatma and assured that Akhanda 2 would incorporate a similarly significant societal concept. It is rumoured that Balakrishna will commence work on Akhanda 2 immediately after wrapping up his project with Bobby.
