Director Sukumar's daughter Sukriti Veni receives prestigious award

Sukumar Daughter Sukriti Veni: Sukriti Veni Bandreddy received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Best Child Artist by the famous director Sukumar Garalapati. She received the award for her outstanding performance in the film Gandhi's Grandfather Chettu, in which she played the lead role. The award was presented at Tuesday's awards ceremony in New Delhi.

Starring Sukriti Veni Bandreddy, who is currently studying in Grade 8 at the International School of Hyderabad, the film has been screened at several international film festivals in the past as well. The film won several awards along with accolades for Sukriti's performance.

Sukriti Veni Bandreddy was awarded the Best Debut Child Actress award at the Dubai International Film Festival and the Indian Film International Film Festival. He received awards for best film at the 11th Noida International Film Festival, Jury best film at the New Delhi Film Festival and best regional film at the New Delhi Film Festival, while the Gandhi Grandfather's Tree awards were awarded for best jury film at the Jaipur International Film Festival and the 8th Indian World Film Festival.

Apart from this, the film is also receiving invitations from various international film festivals. The film is produced by mythri movie makers, Sukumar Writings and Gopi Talkies. Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravishankar and Sesha Sindhu Rao are the producers. Directed by Padmavathi Malladi, the film is presented by Tabitha Sukumar.
