Double Ismart, directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Ustad hero Ram Pothineni, gained significant momentum in their careers with the success of Ismart Shankar. They are currently shooting for the sequel titled Double Smart. Initially slated for release this March, the film's launch was postponed due to pending shooting and post-production tasks.

Although the new release date has yet to be announced, with several other film release dates confirmed starting from April, coupled with the upcoming Assembly and Parliament elections, there has been a scheduling rush.

Ram has revealed that the film will hit screens in June. He mentioned that by then, the election frenzy would have subsided, allowing for a smoother release. Reportedly, June 14 has been earmarked as the release date. Furthermore, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will portray the antagonist in the movie.
