Getup Srinu: The Actor Who Changed Clothes in a Car for His Movie

Now, he's taking on the lead role in the film Raju Yadav, directed by newcomer Krishnamachari and featuring Ankita Kharat as the heroine. Raju Yadav is a comedy-drama about a man who faces numerous challenges after being accidentally hit by a ball, leaving him with a permanent smile. The movie is set to release tomorrow, May 24. In a recent media interaction, Getup Srinu shared some interesting insights.

When asked about budget concerns and how he supported the producer, Srinu explained that most of the film was shot in slums and simple locations, so he chose not to use a caravan to avoid extra costs. Instead, he changed clothes in locals' houses or in the back seat of a car at the shooting locations, ensuring no unnecessary expenses. With digital, satellite, and theatrical rights already sold, the movie has turned a profit. Srinu added that supporting good producers could lead to more film opportunities for him, and he is willing to work for lower remuneration if the role appeals to him.

Despite being the hero, Getup Srinu supported the producer throughout the production, avoiding unnecessary costs. Netizens have praised Srinu for his dedication and humility.
