Popular actress and BJP leader Kangana Ranaut performed a special pooja at Bhimakali temple in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh today (Monday) morning. On this occasion, prayers were offered to the Goddess. Later she received theertha prasadam from the priests. Before that, the temple priests welcomed Kangana with full water. Local BJP leaders participated along with her on this occasion.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut, who calls herself a girl child of Himachal Pradesh, is contesting on behalf of the BJP as a member of the Lok Sabha this time. She is contesting on behalf of the Kamalam Party from the Mandi parliamentary constituency in Himachal Pradesh. She is going to face Congress candidate and sitting MP Pratibha Singh. This Pratibha Singh is the daughter of the former CM of Himachal Pradesh Veerbhadra Singh. Pratibha refused to contest from Mandi earlier. On behalf of the BJP, Kangana Ranaut was announced as their candidate and changed her decision.
