New Rule for Small Films in Tollywood

Without big banner support, finding theaters is difficult, and collections depend on hits and positive word-of-mouth. Ticket prices for small movies in multiplexes are also high, at ₹175.

On the 19th of this month, the small film "Pekamedalu," produced by Baahubali star Rakesh Varre, will be released. Producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni, who bought the theatrical rights, announced at the pre-release event that the ticket price for paid premieres will be ₹50, and regular shows on Friday will be ₹100. He believes this approach will attract more viewers to small films and hopes other small producers will follow this rule.
