As the campaign has been going on for a few days, 'Pushpa 2' has been postponed. Film sources announced on Monday night that the film, which was supposed to hit the screens on August 15, will be released on December 6.

'Pushpa 2' is currently in the shooting stage. Along with the iconic scenes, the songs are to be shot.

The film crew decided to postpone the film as there were indications that it would take time.

The film is being directed by Sukumar with Allu Arjun as the protagonist.

 It is being made as a sequel to 'Pushpa: The Rise'. Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravishankar are jointly producing the movie under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.

 Rashmika is acting opposite Allu Arjun, Fahad Fazil is playing the villain.

The first film 'Pushpa: The Rise' was also released in December itself.
