Veteran actor Rajinikanth arrived in Vijayawada on Tuesday evening, ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of Andhra Pradesh CM-designate N Chandrababu Naidu. Accompanied by his wife Latha Rajinikanth, he was captured by the media.

Chandrababu Naidu, who led the Telugu Desam Party-Bharatiya Janata Party-Janasena alliance to a massive victory in the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, is set to be sworn in as the chief minister of the southern state on Wednesday, June 12.

During the meeting, Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan endorsed the proposal to elect N Chandrababu Naidu as the CM of the NDA government, expressing consent on behalf of his party.

Naidu, in his address, expressed gratitude for the historic mandate, highlighting the unity within the alliance.

He also praised Pawan Kalyan's efforts in strengthening the alliance and acknowledged the collaborative effort for the development of the state.
