Samantha wearing a wedding gown saying 'Sustainability can't be ignored'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu knows how to make a statement as she swapped her wedding gown for a black strapless dress. She cut the white lacy wedding gown and changed into a black cock tail gown for an award show. She shared photos of her outfit saying that sustainability can no longer be ignored. She said it was her 'favourite gown' and had it remade for a special occasion.

On April 25, Samantha took to her official Instagram page to talk about her decision to change her wedding gown. 'Sustainability can no longer be ignored. We're past the point where it's an option. It is now essential to the longevity of the planet we call home. I can assure you that repurposing my old clothes is one of the many steps I am consciously taking to change my habits and make my lifestyle more sustainable. Every little gesture, every little decisive action matters. It all adds up.  I want all of you who have goodwill towards me in your hearts to make that small effort.
