Mythri Movies vs. Dil Raju: The Rivalry Continues

Tollywood's prominent production houses—Mythri Movies, Dil Raju's SVC Cinemas, Sitara Entertainments, People's Media Factory, and Vyjayanthi Movies—are known for their consistent film production. Despite harmonious appearances, intense competition exists.

Currently, two leading production houses in Tollywood are set to produce separate films featuring the same hero. These companies, Mythri Movies, presently the top production house, and Dil Raju's SVC Cinemas, a longstanding leader in theater distribution, have both announced upcoming projects with the popular actor Vijay Deverakonda. This has led to a dispute over which film will be released first.

In this context, Deverakonda will commence work on the Mythri Movies project first. Director Rahul Sankrityayan, who previously collaborated with Vijay on the hit film 'Taxiwala,' will helm this project. Meanwhile, Dil Raju's film will be directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, known for 'Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru.' Vijay is also currently filming under the Sitara Entertainments banner, directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. A leaked photo of Vijay's look from this film, being shot in Sri Lanka, has gone viral.
