AR Rahman Hans Zimmer is on board for Ranbir Kapoor Ramayana Movie 

Two Oscar winners, AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer, are on board to compose music for the Ranbir Kapoor-starring Ramayana movie. Ranbir Kapoor is set to portray Ram, with Sai Pallavi taking on the role of Sita in what promises to be another Bollywood rendition of the epic. Directed by Nitish Tiwari, known for his work on Dangal, the film is slated for release in three parts and is currently in the pre-production phase, progressing rapidly.

Scheduled for launch on April 17 to coincide with Sri Ram Navami, filming will commence in June and July, with the first instalment slated for a Diwali release next year. Joining the cast are Yash as Ravanasur, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, and Rakul Preet as Surpanakha, as per reports. It's noteworthy that Hans Zimmer, renowned for his compositions in top Hollywood movies, is collaborating with Indian maestro AR Rahman for this ambitious project.
