Kamal Haasan's 1996 film Indian (Indian) directed by Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan was a huge success and created a sensation.  Now it is known that Indian 2 and Indian 3 movies are coming as a sequel to it.  The shooting has already been completed and the post-production work is currently underway.

As part of the promotions of this movie, the promotions of 'Bharatiya 2' started yesterday on Star Sports Channel in Mumbai. Shankar and Kamal participated in promotions along with IPL. Updates about the movie were given on this occasion. He said that the audio launch of the movie Indian 2 is going to be held in Chennai on June 1.

It is reported that many Tamil and Telugu stars are coming for this program. It has also been announced that the film is going to be released worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages in July. The information is that the date will be announced soon. The fans are happy as it was announced that the long-awaited movie will be released in July.  Also, the first song of this movie is going to be released on May 22.

The song is composed under the music direction of Anirudh. Along with Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, S.J. Surya, and Bobby Simha, many other stars are acting in the Indian 2 movie. Top Tamil production company Laika Productions and Red Giant Movies are producing this movie.
