Todd Phillips announced 'Joker 2' (Joker: Folie a Deux) as a sequel to this movie. Lady Gaga is playing another lead role along with Joaquin Phoenix in this film.

Jajai Beetz will be seen in another lead role. Filming was done in Los Angeles, New York, and New Jersey locations. Hollywood Talk says that the trailer of this film will be released on April 4. The movie is slated to release on October 4 this year. Produced by Todd Phillips and Bradley Cooper, the film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros.
