Kalki 2898 AD Ticket Rates Hike In Andhra Pradesh And Telangana

The much-anticipated movie 'Kalki 2898 AD,' starring Prabhas, has seen a hike in ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh, following similar increases for big-budget films.

With the release of two trailers, expectations are high that 'Kalki 2898 AD' will reach Hollywood standards. The film, featuring a star-studded cast, is set to release on June 27.

In Telangana, permission has been granted to increase ticket prices by ₹70 for single screens and ₹100 for multiplexes for a week, with a ₹200 increase for benefit shows and up to five screenings per day.

Recently, the Andhra Pradesh government also approved an increase in ticket rates for 'Kalki 2898 AD.' For two weeks, single-screen theaters can raise prices by ₹75, and multiplexes by ₹125, also allowing for up to five screenings per day.

The movie's production team hopes these hikes will lead to significant box office openings. However, some critics argue that the ticket prices have become excessively high, estimating that it might cost at least ₹500 for a theater ticket.
