Despite being 69 years old, Kamal Haasan continues to maintain a work pace akin to that of younger actors. Recently acclaimed for his role as Prathinayakuni in 'Kalki', he also starred in 'Bharatiyadudu-2', which unfortunately flopped at the box office. Undeterred, Kamal is engaged in multiple film projects.

Currently, he is focused on 'Thug Life', directed by Mani Ratnam, a pan-India film nearing completion. Sources reveal only 25 days of shooting remain for this star-studded movie. Alongside Kamal Haasan, the cast includes Simbu, Jayam Ravi, Gautham Karthik, Trisha, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Dulquer Salmaan, and Jojo George in pivotal roles.

Following a rigorous two-week promotional stint for 'Bharatiyadudu-2', Kamal swiftly joined the 'Thug Life' shoot. The production team aims for an August release, despite the setbacks from the sequel's disappointing performance in theaters.
