Kollywood star Suriya has officially announced his upcoming film with director Siruttai Siva, titled 'Kanguva,' a period action drama. Recent reports from Kollywood suggest that Suriya's brother, actor Karthi, will make a special appearance in the film's climax. This appearance is expected to set up a sequel. Tamil audiences are hopeful that 'Kanguva' will become Kollywood's first film to gross over 1000 crores. The movie features Bollywood actress Disha Patani opposite Suriya, with Yogi Babu and Sanjay Dutt in significant roles. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for this mass entertainer. Produced by Vamsikrishna, Pramod, and KE Gnanavelraja under Studio Green and UV Creations, 'Kanguva' is scheduled for release on October 10, 2024.
