Titanic Actor Passes Away

Bernard Hill (79), an actor known worldwide for films like Titanic and Lord of the Rings, has passed away. It is reported that he breathed his last on Sunday morning due to old age problems. He was well recognized for playing the role of Edward Smith, the ship captain, in the movie Titanic. Bernard did a great job in the role of the captain who could not save the passengers but saved the passengers as if they were dead. He gained worldwide recognition as Théoden, king of Rohan in the movie Lord of the Rings.

Born in the UK, Bernard has been in the film industry for five decades. Apart from being a film artist, he also served as a TV artist and stage artist and gave life to acting. He received 11 Oscars for his excellent performance in Lord of the Rings, Trilogy, The Two Towers, and Return of the King movies.
