Tollywood's 1000 Crore Club: Who Will Match Prabhas's Record?

Once upon a time, a 100-crore collection was considered a significant achievement for a movie. Today, 100 crores is commonplace for star heroes, and everyone's target has shifted to 1000 crores.

Tollywood has proven it can reach this milestone, starting with the Rajamouli-Prabhas combo in "Baahubali 2." The movie created a massive impact, and its sequel, "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion," easily crossed the 1000-crore mark.

Several Bollywood movies have since achieved this feat, but Tollywood saw another 1000-crore film with Rajamouli's "RRR," starring NTR and Ram Charan.

Most recently, Prabhas again reached the 1000-crore milestone with "Kalki 2898 AD." So far, "Baahubali 2," "RRR," and "Kalki 2898 AD" are the only Tollywood films to have earned 1000 crores, with Prabhas featuring in two of them.

While "RRR" is a joint achievement for NTR and Ram Charan, Prabhas holds the record for starring in two 1000-crore films.

The question now is, who will break Prabhas's record? Potential contenders include Prabhas's upcoming movies "Kalki Part 2" and "Spirit," which have the potential to reach 1000 crores.
