With the summer season ending and no major blockbusters released, the rainy season has begun bringing new films like "Mr. and Mrs. Mahi," "Chandu Champion," and "Munjya" to Bollywood. Among them, "Munjya," released on June 7, is garnering significant attention.

Starring Mona Singh, Sharwari, and Abhay Varma, "Munjya" has surpassed big films, collecting over Rs. 55 crores within two weeks. It is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, following "Stree," "Roohi," and "Bhediya." The upcoming "Stree 2" will be the fifth film in this universe.

"Munja" has been well-received by audiences, with word-of-mouth driving increased revenue. Directed by Aditya Sarpodar and produced by Maddock Films, the movie has its digital rights acquired by Hotstar. While performing well at the box office, "Munjya" is expected to release on OTT in July.
