The Indrani Mukherjee Story: The Buried Truth OTT Release Date

This series which has been postponed for a few days is now streaming. Shana Levy and Uraj Bahl played key roles in it. The incident came to light three years after Sheena Bora's murder in 2012. Indrani Mukherjea, who was arrested in a case, revealed this while interrogating the driver. He said that Indrani strangled Sheena. This case created a sensation across the country.

According to the details of the investigation, after separation from her first husband, Indrani kept her daughter Sheena and son Michael with her parents in Guwahati. She was married to a man named Sanjeev Khanna for some years and got separated from him. Later she married the famous media executive Peter Mukherjea. Sheena came to know about her mother when she grew up and went to Mumbai to meet her. Sheena meets Rahul, the son of Peter's first wife, which leads to love.

There were frequent quarrels between mother and daughter in this matter. Financial differences also arose. The investigation revealed that Indrani, who was fed up with this, killed her daughter with the help of her second husband Sanjeev and driver Shyam Roy.

Initially, Netflix had planned to start streaming the series from February 23. The CBI approached the Bombay High Court seeking a stay on the release of the OTT till the investigation is completed. The learned Division Bench directed the concerned OTT company to present the matter in advance for the Court to view along with the investigating agency. With the recent court order dismissing the petition filed in this regard, the obstacles to the release have been removed.
