The OTT rights for the movie 'Fighter'

Starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, 'Fighter' was released in theaters on January 25 and quickly became a box office hit. The film showcases remarkable action sequences performed by Hrithik and Deepika, particularly aerial action scenes that were well-received by audiences. The film's success at the box office can also be attributed to the on-screen chemistry between Hrithik and Deepika, which serves as a unique selling point (USP) for the movie. Currently, 'Fighter' continues to generate buzz in the box office.

Fans eagerly await the digital release of 'Fighter' on OTT platforms, and it is expected to premiere digitally in the coming days. Netflix secured the digital rights for the movie at a significant cost, reportedly Rs 150 crore, as per the latest reports. The specific OTT release date is yet to be announced; however, following industry norms, any movie can only be released on OTT platforms four weeks after its theatrical release. Given that it has been a month since 'Fighter' hit theaters, the film is anticipated to make its digital debut soon.

Despite reaching the Rs 200 crore club in India and earning Rs 300 crore worldwide, the film did not meet the anticipated box office collections.
