Fans are buzzing about its success on social media, though an official statement from the Kalki team is pending.

Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Prabhas, continues to set records in movie ticket sales, with 67 lakh tickets sold so far through PVR Inox and total collections exceeding ₹1,000 crore.
