Turbo Twitter Review

"Turbo," a Malayalam-language action comedy directed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, features Mammootty in the lead role. The film also marks the Mollywood debuts of Raj B. Shetty and Sunil, with Anjana Jayaprakash playing a significant role. The story follows Turbo Jose, a Jeep driver from Idukki, who encounters problems that force him to move to Chennai. There, he meets Indhulekha and her brother Jerry, but soon faces unexpected challenges, including encounters with Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram and others.

About Turbo:

In "Turbo," Mammootty stars as Aruvipurathu Jose, also known as Turbo Jose, a Jeep driver from Idukki. After encountering trouble, he relocates to Chennai, where he becomes entangled with Indhulekha, played by Anjana Jayaprakash, and her brother Jerry. Unexpected challenges arise, including confrontations with the antagonist Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram, played by Raj B. Shetty, and his business partners Auto Billa, portrayed by Sunil, and Vincent, played by Kabir Duhan Singh. The film also features Bindu Panicker as Rosakutty, Jose's teacher, Janardhanan as Aruvipurath Mathachan, Jose's father, and Siddique as Aruvipurath Joseph, Jose's elder brother. This blend of action and comedy sees Jose navigating a series of surprises and complications in Chennai.

The music for "Turbo" was composed by Christo Xavier, with Vishnu Sarma handling cinematography and Shameer Muhammed in charge of editing. The film was released in theaters on May 23, 2024.
