7/G Movie Review

Movie Review: 7/G

Directed by Haroon Rasheed, '7/G' features Roshan Basheer, Smruthi Venkat, Sonia Agarwal, Siddharth Vipin, and Subramaniya Siva.

The film, rated 2/5, attempts to blend the IT employee lifestyle with supernatural elements but falls short in execution.

The characters feel plastic, failing to evoke empathy or create a connection. The introduction of benevolent and evil spirits leads to a chaotic screenplay lacking depth.

The murder that sets off the benevolent spirit lacks impact, and the antagonist is poorly developed. Scare scenes are ineffective, and male characters are shallowly written, reducing narrative coherence.

Directorial choices in the second half further diminish the film's potential, with dialogue feeling artificial and characters one-dimensional. Logical inconsistencies typical of horror films undermine its initial build-up.

Despite promising moments and female protagonists in ghost-hunting roles, '7/G' ultimately disappoints due to poor execution and a muddled storyline.
