How is it..

The nation has not forgotten the Pulwama attack on February 14, 2019. More than 40 Indian soldiers lost their lives in this attack. In response to this, India organized the Balkot strike and it was successful. Director Shakti Pratap Singh made 'Operation Valentine' based on these incidents. In this, how the Air Force works for the defence of the country has been shown to the eyes. War with another country is what everyone remembers about military forces. But many people may not know that along with them, the Navy and Air Force are also working for the defence of the country. Movies on the Navy and Air Force also did not come much. But after the Balakot air strike the whole world came to know about the excellence of our air force. They discussed everything about the struggles they had to do in Ghana. Films came out with that background in Bollywood. They are still coming. Recently, a movie called 'Fighter' also came with the same concept and failed at the box office. The concept of Operation Valentine is similar.

However, it can be said that 'Operation Valentine' is the first movie in Telugu with such a theme. The director should be congratulated for making such a rich film with a low budget (reported to be Rs. 42 crores). But emotions are very important in movies like this.It was missed in Operation Valentine. It would have been better if the Pulwama attack, which shook the entire country, was shown more emotionally and connected to each and every viewer. That is not to say that the emotion is not fully ripe. The scene in which a soldier saves a child by risking his life during the attack will impress everyone. The movie would have been more connected if such emotional scenes were less and less. The director focused more on the operations and adventures of the Air Force soldiers. He showed them very naturally on the screen but he could not develop the drama of the story properly on the screen. He started the story with Project Vajra. With that one scene alone, the character of the hero has been revealed. The first stop revolves around the pilot test and the love between the hero and the heroine. But the depth of the love story seems to be reduced.

The interval scene increases the interest in the second half. The whole story is in the second half. The scenes where our soldiers attack Pakistan are brilliantly crafted. Operation Vajra at the end of the hero's adventure to reverse Pakistan's Operation Nehru is impressive. They come out of theaters remembering the bravery of our soldiers.

Who did it?

Varun Tej played the role of Arjun Rudra Dev. He looked like a real Wing Commander on screen. His body language and words are all reminiscent of a true soldier. All his hard work for the film was seen on the screen. Manushichillar played the role of Radar Officer Ahana Gill. His role in the film is well emphasized. However, the on-screen chemistry between the hero-heroines did not work out that much. Navdeep appeared in one or two scenes as Kabir. His character has no dialogue either. Mir Sarwar, Ruhani Sharma and the rest of the actors acted according to the scope of their roles. The film is technically superior.

Mickey J Meyer's background score has elevated the film.Vande Mataram song is impressive.Cinematography of Hari K Vedantam is good. Each scene is very richly portrayed.Editing is fine. The production values are high as per the movie.
