Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar shines in the lady-oriented film "Sabari," directed by Anil Katz and produced by Mahendranath Kundla under Maha Movies banner.
The story revolves around Sanjana, portrayed by Varalakshmi, who leaves her husband and fights to protect her daughter from a menacing criminal named Surya.
The film's suspenseful narrative takes viewers on a journey filled with twists and turns, although the pacing in the first half could have been tighter. Varalakshmi delivers a convincing performance as a determined mother, supported by strong acting from Ganesh Venkatraman, Mime Gopi, and Baby Niveksha.
While the cinematography and background music enhance the suspenseful atmosphere, some scenes feel drawn out, and the screenplay could have been more gripping. Overall, "Sabari" offers a compelling portrayal of a mother's struggle, earning a rating of 2.5.
