Xiaomi has introduced its latest smart kitchen appliance, the Mijia Smart IH Rice Cooker P1 4L, designed to enhance convenience and deliver healthier cooking outcomes.

The newly launched model features advanced Induction Heating (IH) technology, ensuring uniform heat distribution for improved cooking performance. With a 4-litre capacity, the appliance is suitable for families of up to 4–8 members and can prepare up to 16 bowls of rice in a single cycle.

One of the key highlights of this device is its 1.2x pressure cooking system, capable of increasing internal temperatures to approximately 105 degrees. This enables rice grains to absorb water more effectively, resulting in improved texture, softness, and overall taste.

The cooker is equipped with a 2.5mm thick titanium inner pot featuring a fluorine-free non-stick coating. The interior incorporates a melt titanium process, combined with food-grade stainless steel, a crystal protective layer, and an aluminum heat conduction layer, ensuring durability and safety.

In terms of smart functionality, Xiaomi has integrated connectivity with the Mijia app, allowing users to remotely control the device, schedule cooking up to 24 hours in advance, and access over 100 cloud-based recipes. Additionally, the appliance supports XiaoAI voice control, enabling users to customize cooking preferences such as rice texture.

The rice cooker also includes a 10-phase intelligent cooking curve, which automatically adjusts heating, pressure, and cooling parameters based on the type of rice and water ratio. A fast cooking mode allows meals to be prepared in as little as 24 minutes.

Safety remains a priority, with six built-in protection mechanisms, including pressure release systems, safety valves, and lid lock features. Xiaomi is offering a three-year warranty with the product.
