Festival Special Trains: Exciting News for Railway Travelers – Christmas Specials Announced
The South Central Railway has brought cheerful news for passengers planning to travel home this Christmas. In light of the Christmas and New Year festivities, a significant number of special trains have been scheduled. These special services will operate from Hyderabad to multiple destinations.
Passengers will benefit greatly from this announcement, especially those planning to visit their hometowns during the festive season. The South Central Railway has confirmed that special trains will run from Hyderabad to Kakinada, Tirupati, and Padarpur.
Here’s a closer look at the schedules for these festive trains:
Hyderabad-Kakinada Special Trains
- Train No. 07196 will depart from Cherlapalli in Hyderabad heading to Kakinada. This train will operate from December 24 to December 30, exclusively on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The train will leave Cherlapalli at 7:30 pm and reach Kakinada the following day at 9:00 am.
- Train No. 07195 will run from Kakinada to Hyderabad, operating from December 28 to December 31 on Sundays and Wednesdays. Departure from Kakinada is scheduled for 7:50 pm, with arrival at Cherlapalli at 8:30 am the next morning.
Hyderabad-Tirupati Special Trains
- Train No. 07031 will operate from Hyderabad to Tirupati as a special service from December 19 to January 2, available only on Fridays. Departure from Cherlapalli is at 3:35 pm, with stops at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Giddalur, Nandyal, and Kadapa en route to Tirupati.
- Train No. 07000 will run from Tirupati to Hyderabad from December 16 to 30, available every Tuesday. The train departs Tirupati at 4:30 pm and reaches Cherlapalli at 4:30 pm the following day.
This initiative by South Central Railway ensures convenient travel for passengers looking to celebrate Christmas and New Year with their families in different towns and villages.
