Fly91 Vijayawada Hyderabad Flight Launch
Gannavaram, Andhra Pradesh: Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu virtually flagged off a new Fly91 flight service connecting Vijayawada and Hyderabad from his Srikakulam camp office, marking another step forward in enhancing regional air connectivity.
Fly91, a Goa-based regional airline launched in 2024, has been steadily expanding its operations in phases under the Government of India’s UDAN Scheme. The Minister appreciated the airline’s initiative in strengthening connectivity across southern states.
He congratulated the airline management for introducing 22 flights to Hyderabad starting from the 17th of this month. He also indicated that efforts are underway to resume international and domestic services to destinations such as Dubai, Varanasi, Kochi, and others.
Highlighting infrastructure progress, the Minister noted that development works at Vijayawada, Rajamahendravaram, and Kadapa airports are advancing rapidly. He further stated that the Bhogapuram International Airport near Visakhapatnam is expected to be completed by June.
The airline service was formally launched by State Minister Kollu Ravindra, along with Swachhandhra Corporation Chairman Kommareddy Pattabhiram, who also distributed boarding passes to passengers.
Fly91 will operate flights between Vijayawada and Hyderabad, as well as from Rajamahendravaram. The Vijayawada–Hyderabad service will depart at 7:30 AM and arrive at 8:40 AM. An additional service on the same route is scheduled to commence from April 17.
