How does a multi-entry visa work? :

With this new visa, Indian tourists will be able to visit the UAE multiple times on their sponsorship. Applicants for this visa will be issued in just 5 days. However, initially, 90 days are allowed to visit Dubai. If necessary, the validity of this visa can be extended once a year up to a maximum of 180 days. This visa can be used for business or other purposes while tailored to suit different travel needs.

Badr Ali Habib, Regional Head of Proximity Markets at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism mentioned India's important role in Dubai's tourism sector. He noted that India has become a key market for Dubai and will play an important role in strengthening Dubai's position as a hub for business, investment and tourism in achieving the goals of the D33 agenda.

Visa Application Process:

Applicants for the visa must meet certain criteria, including a bank balance of $4,000, valid health insurance in the UAE, a round-trip ticket, and proof of stay in the UAC (hotel or home address). The application must contain important documents like a colour photograph, passport copy, medical insurance, bank statement, tour program, and onward travel ticket.

Visa Issuance Process:

The visa-issuance process involves using digital channels (GDRFA website/smart application) or visiting the Customer Happiness Centre. Application has to be completed in two ways. Pay the required fee. Ensure that all conditions and documents are in order. Certain terms and conditions are applicable for visa issuance including passport validity or travel documents, return ticket, medical insurance in UAE, balance bank statement of 4 thousand dollars.
