Sankranti Special Trains to Run from Jan 4; Janmabhoomi Express Timings Changed

The South Central Railway (SCR) has declared that special trains will operate starting January 4 in celebration of the Sankranti festival. These festive trains have been running annually since January 4, 2020, connecting Secunderabad, Anakapalli, and other destinations.
To meet the high demand during the Sankranti festival, the South Central Railway (SCR) has organized multiple special train services. Train No. 07041 from Secunderabad to Anakapalle will operate on January 4, 11, and 18, while the return train 07042 from Anakapalle to Secunderabad is scheduled for January 5, 12, and 19.
Special services between Hyderabad and Gorakhpur (Train No. 07075) will run on Fridays—January 9, 16, and 23—while the return service from Gorakhpur to Hyderabad (Train No. 07076) is scheduled on January 11, 18, and 25. Additionally, a special train from Machilipatnam to Ajmer (07274) will run on January 21, and the return journey from Ajmer to Machilipatnam (07275) is planned for January 28.
Sabarimala Special Trains
For the convenience of pilgrims traveling to Sabarimala, SCR will operate four special trains in January. Train Nos. 07135/07136, running between Cherlapally and Kollam, will stop at Kacheguda, Kurnool, Don, Gooty, Kadapa, Tirupati, Katpadi, Erode, Thrissur, and Ernakulam stations. The Cherlapally-to-Kollam train (07135) is scheduled for January 14 and 21, while the return Kollam-to-Cherlapally service (07136) will also run on January 14 and 21.
Changes in Janmabhoomi Express Timings
SCR has announced revisions to the schedule of the Janmabhoomi Express (12805/12806) on the Visakhapatnam–Lingampally route, effective February 15, according to CPRO Sridhar.
The train will depart Begumpet at 7:20 am, Secunderabad at 7:40 am, and Cherlapalli at 8:00 am. On its return, the train will leave Visakhapatnam at 6:20 am, reaching Cherlapalli at 6:05 pm, Secunderabad at 6:30 pm, Begumpet at 6:42 pm, and finally Lingampally at 7:15 pm. Officials have requested passengers to note the revised timings at each station.
