Ramayanam is a film directed by Bollywood star director Nitish Tiwari. It is reported that the film team has entrusted the responsibility of writing the dialogues of the Telugu version to Trivikram. Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, KGF star Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi and Rakulpreet Singh as Surpanakha will be seen in the film.  The director and producers are planning to make this movie in three parts. Part 2 is expected to be released on Diwali next year.

The shooting of this film has recently started in Mumbai. Photos and videos of the huge sets shot at Goregaon Film City have gone viral on social media. The shooting visuals have been released in huge numbers in the last two days. It seems that the director Nitish Tiwari has expressed his anger after the photos of this ambitious film were leaked. The talk of the town is that he has taken a tough decision. It has been announced that no phone policy will be implemented on the shooting sets from now on.
