While most sequel films tend to retain the same characters, 'Odela 2' will introduce new characters, signaling a departure from the norm. Sampath Nandi, serving as the creative head, previously directed the crime thriller 'Odela Railway Station' under the direction of Ashok Teja. The film starred Hebah Patel and was produced by Sri Sathya Sai Arts. Scheduled for release in August 2022, the movie will premiere directly on 'Aaha.'

'Odela Railway Station' received positive feedback from the audience, prompting the announcement of a sequel, 'Odela 2.' Notably, this time Hebba Patel has been replaced by Tamannaah as the main lead. The movie is set to explore a supernatural thrilling subject. While Hebba Patel will also feature in the sequel, Tamannaah will take on the primary lead role.

The opening ceremony for 'Odela 2' took place in Kashi yesterday, with Tamannah in attendance alongside the movie unit. Sampath Nandi shared the poster and pictures of the pooja program on his social media, expressing heightened excitement for this installment. It has been revealed that the movie will see a pan-India release.
