Inside Out 2 Movie Review, An Emotional Tide Worth Riding

If you loved  Inside Out, brace yourself as the animated film is back with an even more exciting chapter. Riley is back as a teenager and her emotions are in turmoil. This child who once controlled simple emotions like joy ,  sadness,  fear and anger is now approaching puberty.

Directed by Kelsey Mann, Riley struggles to cope with the whirlwind of new emotions on the brink of adulthood in this sequel. Suddenly the  joy is swept away by the complex emotion of  anxiety . It does not come alone. Along with  anxiety comes  jealousy ,  shame and  boredom . But don t panic. Ha! The  worry will leave you!

As Riley faces new challenges in teenage life, it will be interesting to see how Meg Fauve and Dave Holstein work on the screenplay. It s almost meta in many of the conversations that Riley s emotions have with each other.

At one point the  happiness was broken, she was  illusioned and it was not easy to stay positive all the time.

I mean, we get it! We ve all been there. It is in these moments that you truly feel in sync with Riley.
