Tollywood actor Adivi Sesh has achieved a significant milestone with his latest film Dacoit, which has opened to a strong response at the box office. Marking a departure from his usual spy thrillers, the film has emerged as the biggest opener of his career.

On its first day, Dacoit grossed over ₹15 crore worldwide, exceeding trade expectations and generating considerable buzz across industry circles. The film also performed well beyond the Telugu market, registering a promising start in the Hindi belt, where it collected approximately ₹1.25 crore, further reinforcing Sesh’s growing pan-India appeal.

In the overseas market, particularly in the United States, Dacoit delivered an impressive performance. The film crossed the $500K mark through premiere shows alone and has now surpassed $575K, making it the fastest Adivi Sesh film to achieve this milestone.

Audience interest has been equally strong on ticketing platforms such as BookMyShow, where over 2.5 lakh tickets have reportedly been sold. Notably, afternoon and evening shows have witnessed higher occupancy compared to morning screenings, indicating positive word-of-mouth and sustained momentum.
